Van Bommel men's slippers

Shoemakers since 1734

Today, brothers Reynier, Pepijn and Floris van Bommel are the ninth generation of shoemakers to lead the Van Bommel family business. However, the origins of Van Bommel date all the way back to 1734, when the Van Bommel family began producing high-quality handmade shoes in Breda. The knowledge passed down from father to son is still applied today in the production of our shoes at our shoe factory in Moergestel. We continue to produce many pairs of men's shoes each year in our own factory in Moergestel.

The Van Bommel and Floris van Bommel brands

Two brands are designed and produced within the Van Bommel shoe company: the traditional ‘Van Bommel’ brand and the ‘Floris van Bommel’ sub-brand, which has been creating contemporary footwear since 1996. Van Bommel is known as the more classic brand of the brothers from Moergestel, although classic certainly doesn't mean old-fashioned. In recent seasons, we have been working extensively on restoring our Van Bommel collection to its roots: a pure classic collection featuring carefully crafted, traditional shoes with Dutch origins.

If you have any questions about the construction or sizing of our shoes, feel free to contact our customer service team. They are available on working days between 9:00 AM and 5:30 PM.
