Leather boots
The Floris van Bommel leather boot collection includes a variety of styles, ranging from rugged lace-up boots to elegant boots. Each pair is designed with attention to detail, ensuring quality and comfort with every step. Our leather men's boots are available in various styles, from ankle boots that pair perfectly with a casual outfit to lined boots that provide extra protection and warmth on colder days.
There is also plenty of choice when it comes to colour. Classic shades such as black boots, brown and cognac remain firm favourites, while shades such as grey-green and dark blue are becoming increasingly popular. The combination of supple leather, sturdy soles and refined finishing makes these men's leather boots a durable and stylish investment. They are easy to combine with jeans, chinos or even smart trousers, making them suitable for a wide range of occasions.
Leather Chelsea boots
One of the most popular styles in the collection is the leather Chelsea boot. These distinctive boots, featuring elasticated side panels and a sleek fit, have been a favourite among style-conscious men for decades. They are easy to put on and take off and work perfectly with both casual and business outfits.
Combine them with dark jeans and a roll-neck sweater for a modern look, or wear them with smart trousers and a blazer for a more sophisticated appearance. Regular care is important to keep your men's leather boots in top condition. Use a soft brush to remove dirt and treat the leather with a nourishing cream or spray. This helps keep the material supple and preserves the natural shine of your shoes.

Frequently asked questions
What size leather boots should I choose?
Check our size guide to see how your foot length corresponds to UK and EU sizes. The size guide also includes an instructional video explaining how to determine your shoe size. Floris van Bommel uses the UK sizing system for men's shoes, with full and half sizes ranging from 5 to 13.5. This allows for a highly precise fit.
Which Floris van Bommel leather boots are suitable for orthotic insoles?
A large proportion of Floris van Bommel leather boots have a removable footbed and are therefore suitable for orthotic insoles. However, there are also leather boots without a removable footbed. Use our 'removable footbed' filter to find all men's boots suitable for orthotic insoles.
How do you care for leather boots?
Before wearing men's boots for the first time, we recommend treating them with a water- and dirt-repellent spray such as Carbon Pro by Collonil. This spray is suitable for both leather and suede boots. Applying it regularly helps prevent dirt and moisture from penetrating the material. For smooth leather boots, Carbon Wax helps prevent premature wear. With the right care, you can enjoy your leather boots for longer.
How are Floris van Bommel leather boots made?
Most leather boots are produced using either the Blake or Ago construction method. With both methods, the upper leather is stretched over the last and secured underneath the insole using adhesive. A small amount of cork is added underneath the foot to provide optimal support. The prefinished outsole is then attached to the insole using adhesive.
The difference between the Blake and Ago construction methods is that with Blake construction, the insole, upper and outsole are additionally stitched together using a vertical stitch.
