What is my size?

For men’s shoes, Floris van Bommel uses the English (UK) shoe size system in whole and half sizes (5 to 13½). This allows for a very accurate fitting range. The two tables below show how the UK sizes relate to EU sizes and centimetres. In the video, we show you how to measure your feet correctly.

Product details

This is an authentic tuxedo shoe made according to all the tricks in the book. The lace shoe is based on an authentic dinner jacket shoe, the upper is finished with black textile piping and the outsole has a leather tread, which is not too thick so that it matches the shoe beautifully in terms of width. The patent leather is of premium quality, which is evident when the shoe is worn. Specifically, this means that the creases on the flex points look neat when worn and they disappear when the shoe is flat. Outside of galas and weddings, this tuxedo shoe also looks super stylish with jeans or trousers. The heel profile has a sleek finish with a cushioning rubber TPU surface and six heel studs. The shoe is lined with high-quality Italian calf leather.

"In our Floris van Bommel dress shoe collection, we have about ten different shoe last shapes. A last shape is normally used for several seasons and often builds the foundation for dozens of shoe models. This black patent leather shoe is the only shoe in our collection for which we use a unique shoe last. One last for only one shoe that comes in only one colour. The reason for this is that it’s an authentic "tuxedo shoe" last on which no other models or colours are made. A stylish classic of the collection which – even though it’s a tuxedo shoe – also looks great when combined with a pair of jeans or casual pants."
